Kuninkaantie (King’s Route) Cycling, the main event of Suomi Pyöräilee (Finland Cycles) 2009, will be held in June. Cyclers leave from Turkuand continue through Kotka and Hamina to Lappeenranta, following the old route of kings and emperors.
The cycling tour will end in Lappeenranta to the 52ndannual camp gathering of Suomen Latu 26.-28.6.2009.
In Hamina we will among other things celebrate the 200thanniversary of Hamina peace. Throughout the tour we shall also pay a visit to several historical destinations and attractions.
You can enrol for the whole tour (approx. 500 km) or join for shorter stretches (9 possible options to choose from). Overnight accommodations will take place in hotels and schools.
